Family Travel: How to Plan, Prep, & Actually Enjoy It

Schedule (3 sessions)

Find the Right Trip

Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM EDT

45 min

We work through real destination shortlists and specific properties together, including why we would or wouldn't recommend each one and guide you through a framework you can reuse for how to find the right property for your family.

Get Ready for the Trip

Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM EDT

45 min

From packing to flight strategy, we'll cover the pre-departure logistics that set up a smooth first 24 hours. You don't need every product on the internet, just the ones that work for your family, budget, and suitcase size.

Actually Enjoy the Trip

Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM EDT

45 min

From setting up your hotel room or villa, to deciding on your daily schedule and structure, to ways to reset when things go sideways, we'll cover our mindset shifts and strategic recommendations for actually enjoying the trip you worked so hard to plan. Plus, we'll highlight what to notice on this trip so the next one is just as good, or better.

About this group

Most family travel advice starts and ends with "here are some great resorts." This group goes further. Over three sessions, we work through actual trips together: from picking the right destination and hotel for your specific family (with real destinations and our unfiltered thoughts), to the packing and pre-departure logistics that set up a smooth arrival, to what it actually takes to enjoy yourself once you're there. We'll answer your real questions, troubleshoot live, and share tips within the group as we go.

What this group is — and isn't. Auggie groups are moderated peer-support and educational sessions. They are not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, or any other licensed professional service.
