About this event:
Join me for an informal, supportive gathering created for LGBTQ+ parents at any stage of the parenting journey. Parenting can be beautiful, joyful, exhausting, and sometimes isolating, especially while navigating today’s political realities and the unique questions that can arise for queer families.
This coffee hour is a relaxed space to connect with other LGBTQ+ parents, share what’s coming up in your home, and feel a little less alone. There’s no formal agenda, but conversation may include navigating gendered dynamics in a queer household, responding to gender stereotypes placed on children, choosing language for parents and family roles, and helping children understand and tell the beautiful story of their family.
Hosted by Emilie K. Psychotherapy, this gathering offers a warm, affirming environment for honest conversation and community care.
Bring your coffee, tea, lunch, or just your wonderful self as we come together for something a little different.
Happy Pride!
