Pregnancy, Parental Leave, and Your Career Growth

About this event:

Pregnancy and parental leave can bring big changes at work, but they can also create an opportunity to get intentional about your career, advocate for yourself, and plan confidently for what comes next.

In this session, we’ll follow the story of “Allie Auggie,” an expectant parent preparing to share her pregnancy news at work. Through her journey, we’ll explore practical ways to approach career growth and self-advocacy during pregnancy, throughout parental leave, and when returning to work.

Kelly Ling, founder of Stork & Spark, will share guidance for navigating these important career moments with greater clarity and confidence. You’ll learn how to communicate your goals, advocate for your professional growth, prepare for parental leave, and approach your return to work with intention.

Whether you’re newly pregnant, planning for parental leave, or thinking ahead to your transition back to work, this conversation will offer practical strategies to help you feel prepared and empowered. The session will wrap with an open AMA, giving you the chance to ask Kelly your own questions about pregnancy, parental leave, and career growth.
