Is it stress, motherhood, aging… or perimenopause? Join Cassie Shortsleeve alongside Dr. Mastaneh Sharafi, VP of Scientific & Clinical Affairs at Ritual; Dr. Kathleen Jordan, Chief Medical Officer at Midi Health; Dr. Sara Reardon, pelvic floor physical therapist and founder of The Vagina Whisperer; and Dr. Anne Welsh, licensed psychologist and author, for a candid conversation about what actually happens during perimenopause. We’ll cover changing periods, sleep, mood, brain fog, pelvic and sexual health, nutrition, mental health, treatment options, and what actually helps. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s changing in your body, what’s normal, and when it’s time to seek additional support.

About this event:
Wait… is this perimenopause?
For many women, the first signs don’t look anything like what they expected. Maybe your period suddenly changes. Maybe you’re waking up at 3 AM for no apparent reason. Maybe you’re more anxious, irritable, exhausted, foggy, or simply don’t quite feel like yourself. And because perimenopause can begin years before your final period, it’s easy to wonder: Is this hormones? Stress? Motherhood? Aging? Or all of the above?
Join us for Wait, Is This Perimenopause? What’s Changing, What’s Normal & What Actually Helps, a candid, practical conversation moderated by Cassie Shortsleeve, journalist and founder of Two Truths, with Dr. Mastaneh Sharafi, VP of Scientific & Clinical Affairs at Ritual; Dr. Kathleen Jordan, Chief Medical Officer at Midi Health; Dr. Sara Reardon, pelvic floor physical therapist and founder of The Vagina Whisperer; and Dr. Anne Welsh, licensed psychologist, and author.
Together, we’ll unpack perimenopause from multiple angles, including when it can begin, the symptoms women often miss, changing periods, sleep, mood, brain fog, nutrition, pelvic and sexual health, and mental health. We’ll also talk about treatment options, what can actually help, and how to know when something may be related to perimenopause versus when it deserves a closer look.
Most importantly, this conversation is about giving women the information to better understand what’s happening in their bodies, feel less alone in the changes they’re experiencing, and feel more confident asking for the support they need.
A special thank you to Ritual for making this conversation possible!
