Join Jennifer Anderson, MSPH, RDN, founder of Kids Eat in Color; Dr. Whitney Casares, MD, MPH, FAAP, board-certified pediatrician and founder of Modern Mommy Doc; and Sari Imberman, MS, RDN, pediatric dietitian and feeding specialist, for a practical conversation about helping kids build confidence and independence around food. About this event:
Raising a confident, independent eater sounds wonderful in theory. But when your toddler refuses dinner, throws food on the floor, or suddenly decides they hate everything they loved yesterday, it's not always easy to know when to step in and when to let go.
How do we encourage independence without turning mealtimes into a battle? How much control should kids really have over what and how much they eat? And what can parents do to build healthy eating habits without pressure, bribery, or endless negotiations?
Join Auggie for an honest, practical conversation with Jennifer Anderson, MSPH, RDN, registered dietitian and founder of Kids Eat in Color; Dr. Whitney Casares, MD, MPH, FAAP, board-certified pediatrician, author, and founder of Modern Mommy Doc; and Sari Imberman, MS, RDN, pediatric dietitian and feeding specialist.
Together, we'll explore how to raise independent eaters, navigate picky eating, and help children develop a positive relationship with food.
We'll cover everything from introducing choice and encouraging self-feeding to handling food refusal, setting boundaries, and knowing when to worry.
Parents will leave with realistic strategies to make mealtimes calmer, more enjoyable, and a little less stressful for everyone.
A special thank you to Inglesina for making this event possible! Inglesina creates thoughtfully designed baby gear, including high chairs and table chairs that help bring little ones to the family table.
